so in all seriousness, I still think that its ok to loan cards to both brad & tuffy. I know both of them & I've heard both of their sides of the story long before this thread came out. its pretty much done & resolved. I think the US post office played a part in this debacle. I believe that tuffy mailed out the cards in good faith & the post office lost them. maybe tuffy wrote the address wrong, maybe he didn't have enough postage.
at the courthouse we have seen the post office do more & more weird shit with sending out notices & heaing dates etc. mail getting lost & sent back etc. maybe the arid mesas will show up in brad or tuffy's mail box a month from now. if you read the newspapers you will see that the post office has been stuggling & is going bankrupt, scaling things back etc.

I think tuffy should have been more upfront with his financial situation, have the humility to say I don't have any $. if I give you $20 i can't pay rent etc. I don't think tuffy is bad w/ money its just that there is this recession thing going on & brad should know b/c hes unemployed also. but instead tuffy just kinda stalled made brad think he had the $ but wasn't paying.

the longer you wait to return cards the more people get anxious & pissed off about it. isnt it funny how quick some one can borrow a card but how long it takes to get it back? they should ship it back or make arrangements before the person starts nagging & bitching. if you are borrowing something the other person is doing you a favor for free. if you don't give it back right after the tourn. you shouldn't be offended when the other guy tries to collect. if I don't hear back from someone within a week I start to worry.
I agree w/ what grunch said earlier about mythic rares being out of control & people no longer being able to collect playsets on their own. I can't afford $200 for 4x green titan. but i got blown out today by a 15yr old kid today w/ green titan who plays slow as fuck just bc his dad bought him the cards. when shards came out wotc said they wernt going to fuck us on mythics & everything was legendary but then m10 came out w bsa a huge staple card & we started getting fucked. now everyone is borrowing cards left & right & at each others throats. I want to write wotc a letter & tell them to stop doing mythic rares. remember when fallen empires came out & it was all just common & uncommon? they changed their marketing strategy a lot since then.
I head someone say that they quit reading mtgia a year ago b/c its just a place were negative magic players go to bitch. & I stopped following it for a while. so I hope I'm not too negative w/ my f-bombs. the negativity really does discourage ppl from writing. I hear ppl say that they sometimes read but they don't write b/c they say they know they are going to get trolled or have someone be condescending etc.
